Roswell Election Results

The results from Tuesday’s election have brought some definition to what will essentially be a new government in Roswell. In the race for mayor Lori Henry and Lee Jenkins will face each other in a December runoff. Two city council positions will also have a runoff as no candidate got the required 50 percent. Mike Nyden and Sean Groer will runoff for post 3, while post 6 will see Matt Judy face Karen Parrish. Marie Willsey won post 4 outright with 57.68% of the vote and Matthew Tyser won post 5 outright with a 55.4%.
