THE COTTAGE SCHOOL ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, STEVEN PALMER

The Cottage School is pleased to announce Steven Palmer as the new Executive Director of The Cottage School. This announcement follows Co-founder Dr. Jacque Digieso’s recent retirement after 30 years as the school’s Executive Director.
Born and raised in Florida, Steven Palmer has over 20 years of experience managing operations and delivering strong sustainable growth for businesses and educational organizations. “As a highly regarded administrator, Palmer’s background as a Teacher, Coach, Principal, Director, Founder and CEO made him an excellent choice to lead the school into its next chapter,” said Bob Hagan, Former President of TCS Board of Directors. “In addition to his several teaching awards and administrative accolades, Steven brings with him a comprehensive background with students who have learning differences and Attention Deficit Disorders.
In a statement to TCS families Palmer said, “As the new Executive Director of The Cottage School, it is my sincere honor to be a member of this great school community. The Cottage School enjoys a rich history of academic and cultural excellence that is based on partnerships between the school staff, parents, the community of Roswell and the students themselves. During my visits to TCS, I observed this close working relationship and a genuine focus on what is best for our middle and high school students. I am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff to continue providing the very best educational program for our students.”
