Alpharetta’s premier corporate community event attracts thousands of local employees, residents, and runners. This year marks the 36th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta and the 23rd running of the Mayor’s Corporate Challenge. It’s basically a huge block party – a night of fun, food, music, running, friendly competition, and fundraising. Thanks to our generous corporate sponsors each year, the Mayor’s Corporate Challenge raises over $100,000 which is used to support nonprofit organizations that make a difference in the lives of homeless children, mothers, and families by providing transition housing, life skills training, budgeting, and vocational training. Since 2014, the Mayor’s Challenge has raised cumulatively nearly $500,000 for people in need in our local community and abroad spanning over 100+ charities and causes. Alpharetta City Center, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta. Race festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. Kid’s Fun Run at 6:15 p.m. (Pre-registration required). 5K starts at 7:00 p.m.
