Bring the family when the Historic House Museums open their doors after hours for twinkling lights, greenery of the season, and sounds of the 19th century drifting about the rooms. Three beautifully decorated homes will be filled with seasonal music, carols, refreshments, and good old-fashioned family cheer! 12 and under are free, but need to be registered; ages 13 and up, $15 per person. Barrington Hall: Caroling sing-a-long at the piano, hot chocolate and cookies, angel dress-up photos, and ornament crafts in the barn. Bulloch Hall: Unique decorations, roasted marshmallows, mulled cider, cookies, and a candy cane ornament craft. Archibald Smith Plantation: Hot-spiced apple cider and gingerbread cookies, traditional Christmas music, and an opportunity to make a Christmas craft. 5 – 8:00 p.m.
