The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is proud to present Chalktoberfest, an exciting combination of their annual Chalk Art Festival with Marietta’s Craft Beer Festival. Spend the afternoon sampling craft beers, enjoying live music from local artists (nine, count ’em, nine performers between Sat and Sun) while Chalk Artists chalk the streets. Enjoy great food, too, at beautiful downtown Marietta on the square. It’s free to attend, and all proceeds go to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. And by chalk the streets, Marietta is not talking about your basic tub of sidewalk chalk and a crude streetscape made for Matchbox cars. No. See what dozens of professional artists will “paint” this year. 10 a.m – 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday. 95 Artists, 40 Breweries, 120+ Beers, 20+ Wines. chalktoberfest.com.
